For over 70 years, Shri Dussehra Committee Trust, Patna has been at the heart of Bihar’s cultural and spiritual celebrations. Known for introducing Ramlila and Ravana Dahan at Gandhi Maidan in 1955, the Trust has carried forward a glorious legacy that unites millions in devotion, culture, and community spirit.

But when it was held at Gandhi Maidan in 2024, it became a massive success. I remember the devastating floods in Patna in 1975 when they cancelled the celebrations and diverted the money to help the victims. Even during the Corona pandemic, they were out there distributing food and helping people in need. It's a testament to their mission of 'Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya.'
